Las Vegas, Nevada – (March 30, 2022) – VYRE Network (a wholly-owned Cabo Verde Capital company, “VYRE” or the “Company”) (OTCPK: CAPV) is pleased to announce that it will kick off the streaming of the 2022 Women’s National Football Conference (WNFC) regular season on Saturday, April 2, 2022. Games can be seen for free worldwide every Saturday on the VYRE App or viewed any time on VOD. Fans can download the App through Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire, Android, iPhone, Smart TVs, Samsung Smart TV and watch on the VYRE Sports website. www.vyresports.com/wnfc
In 2021 VYRE Network entered into a 5-year media rights agreement with the WNFC. This exclusive partnership has VYRE broadcasting all of the WNFC’s regular-season home games, as well as their playoffs and IX Cup championship game from 2022 through the end of the 2026 season. This will be the first time that a network has carried a full season of women’s professional tackle football games exclusively. With this deal, VYRE Network and the WNFC will benefit from an increase in commercial advertisements, exclusive sponsorship opportunities, and enhanced brand recognition.
In addition, new viewership on the network is expected to increase substantially now that VYRE is livestreaming all of the WNFC’s games this year, and not releasing games two days later as video-on-demand. As viewership increases, VYRE’s programmatic advertising will increase, which will translate to an increasing revenue stream being generated from the broadcasting of the WNFC.
The 2021 season was a pivotal year for the growth of both VYRE Network and the WNFC as a result of this worldwide distribution partnership. With very little marketing, the partnership generated over 398,000 streams, which was considered a success for the first year. For 2022, in addition to the live game broadcasts, VYRE Network will be showcasing various supporting shows, documentaries, and exclusive content which promotes both WNFC football and the Women’s movement in sports.
“We are super excited about the next frontier of exposure for women’s football. VYRE Network is leading the way, to make sure that fans in 100+ countries, U.S. and Canada get a proper introduction to professional women’s tackle football. This launch is literally going to change the game.” – Odessa Jenkins CEO of WNFC
We are making history in so many ways by live streaming a full season of Women’s National Football. These ladies really have skills, and now the world gets to see them front and center every Saturday. We built VYRE Network to change the narrative and you can’t get more of a direct “We Are Here” then this – David Hill, CEO of VYRE Network
The WNFC has revolutionized sports by bringing women’s tackle football to the world stage for the first time. Their business not only fills a critical gap in popular sports, but the league is also inspiring women and girls to “dream big and hit hard”.
The WNFC already has momentum with over 1,300 athletes and coaches across 17 teams, sponsorships by Adidas and Riddell, and now adding VYRE Network’s global platform reach for the ladies to do what they love, only amplifies the movement.
